Dry Shampoo for Coat, Mane & Tail

For waterless grooming, work the powder through the horse's coat, mane or tail and brush it through. Family information describes the formula as helping clean and deodorize while adding shine, without soap, water or harsh chemicals.

The powder format also makes it useful for absorbing sweat. This can be practical in areas covered by tack or blankets where moisture and odor can accumulate.

Skin & Equipment Care

Family information positions the formula for concerns including sweet itch, rain rot, scratches and other forms of skin funk. It also describes use for itchy or inflamed skin associated with insect bites, hives and environmental allergens.

These are health-related concerns, so persistent, severe or unexplained skin problems should be assessed by an appropriate equine veterinary professional. The powder should not be treated as a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or necessary medical care.
