Foam Dog Stairs for Beds and Sofas
The Nordjager 3-Step Pet Stairs provide a more gradual route to elevated household surfaces. Their curved profile combines the familiarity of steps with the smoother approach of a pet ramp, making them suitable for small dogs, puppies and cats.
At 15.7 inches high, the stairs can be positioned beside compatible beds, couches, sofas or recliners. Always compare the stair height with the intended furniture before ordering.
Curved Steps for a Gradual Climb
Each step has a rounded transition rather than a sharp vertical edge. This design helps pets move upward through shorter, more manageable stages.
Suitable for Small Pets
The manufacturer recommends the stairs for small and medium-sized pets weighing less than 45 lb. Suitability depends on the pet’s size, mobility, confidence and climbing behaviour.
High-Density Memory Foam Support
The interior is made from high-density memory foam that forms a lightweight yet supportive climbing surface. The foam compresses slightly under the pet’s paws while maintaining the overall step shape.
Vacuum-Compressed Packaging
The product arrives compressed to reduce its shipping volume. After opening the package, remove all wrapping and allow the foam to expand in a ventilated area.
Allow Up to 72 Hours
The foam may require as long as 72 hours to recover its intended shape. Avoid regular use until the steps have expanded evenly and feel stable.
Textured Cover with Waterproof Backing
The upper walking surface is covered with soft corduroy to provide traction and a comfortable feel under the paws. A waterproof backing layer beneath the surface helps protect the foam from minor accidents and moisture.
Wear-Resistant Linen Sides
The sides use linen-style fabric designed to withstand routine contact during everyday use. The cover also includes a storage pocket for small pet accessories.
Water-Resistant Protection Is Limited
The waterproof layer does not make the entire product waterproof. Clean liquid spills promptly and do not soak or leave the foam outdoors.
Non-Slip Base for Indoor Floors
The bottom is made with textured anti-slip fabric to help keep the stairs in position during normal climbing.
Placement Matters
Position the stairs on a clean, dry and level floor with the upper step sitting close to the furniture. Test the product for movement before allowing your pet to use it.
Introduce the Stairs Gradually
Guide your pet with calm encouragement or treats during the first few sessions. Never force, pull or place a frightened pet onto the stairs.
Removable Cover and Carry Handle
A zippered construction allows the cover to be removed for cleaning. A handle on the opposite side of the storage pocket makes the lightweight stairs easier to move between rooms.
Convenient Everyday Maintenance
Regular cleaning helps remove hair, dirt and odours from the walking surface. Follow the care label when machine washing the cover and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.

Cleaning and Care
Washing the Cover
Unzip and remove the cover from the foam core. Machine wash according to the attached care label and allow it to dry fully before placing it back on the stairs.
Cleaning the Foam
Spot-clean the foam only when necessary. Avoid saturating, machine washing or tumble-drying the foam core, as excessive water and heat may affect its shape.
Safety Information
Use the stairs indoors on a flat, dry and stable surface. Confirm that the product does not slide, tip or separate from the furniture before every use.
Do not exceed the manufacturer’s 45 lb weight recommendation. The stairs are not designed for children, people or large dogs. Inspect the foam, cover, zipper and non-slip base regularly, and discontinue use if the product becomes damaged, deformed or unstable.
