Outward Hound Hide-A-Squirrel XL Dog Puzzle
Turn playtime into a rewarding search game with the Outward Hound Hide-A-Squirrel XL. This interactive plush puzzle includes a tree trunk with multiple openings and six removable squeaky squirrels for your dog to discover.
Simply place the squirrels inside the trunk and invite your dog to sniff them out. Once every squirrel has been found, refill the trunk and begin the game again.
Interactive Hide-and-Seek Play
The puzzle format encourages dogs to use their nose, paws and natural curiosity. Finding and removing the squirrels provides an engaging activity that can add variety to a dog’s indoor play routine.
Encourages Natural Searching Instincts
Dogs naturally enjoy sniffing, investigating and retrieving objects. The trunk’s openings allow them to see, smell and reach for the hidden squirrels.
Adjustable Challenge
Leave parts of the squirrels visible when introducing the toy. Once your dog understands the game, place them deeper inside the trunk to create a more challenging search.
Puzzle Toy and Fetch Set in One
The removable squirrels can also be used separately for gentle games of toss and fetch. Their compact plush shape makes them easy for many dogs to pick up and carry.
Built-In Squeakers
Each squirrel contains a squeaker that produces sound when squeezed. This helps capture attention and adds another sensory element to the game.
Soft for Carrying and Cuddling
The plush construction is gentle on teeth and gums, making the toy suitable for puppies and adult dogs that play gently. Dogs may also enjoy carrying or cuddling the individual squirrels after playtime.
